SchooLinks is an online college and career readiness tool that allows students to take short personality and interest quizzes to see how their likes and dislikes align with career clusters they may be interested in pursuing.  The program allows students to explore MANY careers and colleges as well as learn a variety of employability skills, about college life, paying for college, and so much more.  Students in grades 8-12 are provided access to this tool through a partnership with Eastern IL Education for Employment System.  Mrs. Sullivan is available to help students use this platform.  Students can visit www.Schoolinks.com and log in with Clever.
EHS Career and Technical Education
At EHS students continue to explore careers by taking classes to learn valuable skills and certifications in their chosen career areas to help get a jump start on their career goals.  Students have the opportunity to participate in job shadowing days and other community events like Manufacturing Day, Chamber Career Fair, and the Construction Trades Expo to explore career options.  Students may also participate in career-based field trips and college visits to better understand the financial aspect of work and college costs.

Many EHS classes have embedded career components that help prepare students for graduation by discussing career paths, career lifestyles, education, financial aid, certifications, resumes, and inviting guest speakers into the classroom.
