It is our hope that each child who attends a Unit 40 school will develop as much as they possibly can within the confines of their own ability. Our mission is to provide the best education possible using all of our available resources in the most efficient manner possible.

Effingham offers programs that focus on the student as a whole and that serve children from early childhood to young adulthood. We not only provide experiences in early childhood, regular education, and special education but we have developed partnerships with colleges and universities that give our students a start on their post-secondary education.
